Bosch invests in semiconductors

Germany's automotive chip giant Bosch is set to acquire the semiconductor

TSI in response to the growing demand of the electric vehicle market.

TSI Semiconductors operates an 8-inch wafer manufacturing facility in Roseville, California. The acquisition will increase Bosch's production capacity, which operates two wafer fabs. Production of SiC chips at the California facility is expected to begin in 2026.
