Sanofi inaugurates a solar farm at its Montpellier research site
which will produce 5,500 MWh per year. Another solar power plant will be built in 2024. Together, they will cover 17% of the site's electricity needs. EDF ENR is the builder.
The Les Mousquetaires distribution group has just signed a PPA with Q Energy for 29 MW over 15 years, to be commissioned in early 2024.
TotalEnergies has been awarded a contract by the Iraqi government to develop a 1 GW solar power plant to supply the electricity grid in the Basra region. In agreement with the Iraqi authorities, TotalEnergies has invited the Saudi company ACWA Power to participate in this solar project.
EDF Renewables has signed a contract to build three 850 MW power stations in Indiana, due to come on stream in the fourth quarter of 2025.
