The French panel assembler, Voltec has acquired new equipment from Mondragon to increase its annual production capacity by 150 MW. The machines are expected to go into mass production in the third quarter of 2023.

Indian cell and panel manufacturer Emmvee will build a 1.5 GW cell production facility, with technical cooperation from Fraunhofer Institute ISE

The Chinese Risen Energy has achieved an efficiency of 23.9% with a heterojunction panel

New panel series from Trina Solars Vertex S+ rooftop series using i-TOPCon N-type cells. The monofacial version can achieve a power of 445 Wp and an efficiency of 22.3 %, the bifacial panel has a front power of 435 Wp and an efficiency of 21.8 %.

Tongwei announces the launch of a 120,000 ton high purity silicon project in Sichuan province. It will cost RMB 6 billion ($879 million). The plant is expected to be commissioned in 2024.
