Tongwei honoured by Bloomberg
Bloomberg New Energy recently announced the ranking of global PV manufacturers and suppliers in Q4 2022. It singled out Tongwei's reliable and bankable Terra Series shingled products.
A shingled panel: the silicon wafer is cut into several small pieces by laser cutting, then stacked and arranged in the shape of tiles. The cells are electrically connected with an adhesive, then laminated and encapsulated. This technology is not new as it was advocated as early as 1956 by DC Dickson
Tongwei started to investigate shingle products in 2016. The Tongwei series of products has several significant advantages such as high performance, efficiency, reliability, environmental friendliness and beautiful appearance.
