India's Reliance on heterojunction
SC Solar of China is supplying a 5.2 GW heterojunction panel equipment line to Reliance Industries in India. This is the largest order for a production line
of panels in India and, probably, worldwide for the heterojunction
Reliance continues to invest. A year ago, the company announced an $80 billion investment over ten to fifteen years to add 100 GW of installed capacity while setting up solar PV manufacturing facilities.
