Industry highlights: Adani, Tongwei, Canadian Solar, LiTime Technology

India's Adani is to set up a 30,000-tonne silicon production capacity and a 500-tonne mono-silane production capacity in India. 10 GW will be commissioned by 2025. The group recently presented silicon ingots.

Tongwei continues to develop a 25 GW panel manufacturing base in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone in China's Jiangsu province. Tongwei's solar panel deliveries are expected to reach 5 GW this year, rising to 30 GW in 2023 and 50 GW in 2024.

Canadian Solar, will begin industrial production of a series of high-efficiency n-type TOPCon solar panels from the first quarter of 2023. The company said its TOPCon panels could achieve an output power of 690W.

The Chinese LiTime Technology is presenting a 12.8 V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 100 Ah and the ability to operate for 4,000 cycles.
