Increase in remuneration for winning Portuguese projects
The Portuguese government announces a pay rise for the winning projects in its 2019 and 2020 solar auctions
which ended with record prices. It will also extend by 12 months the period during which projects can sell electricity at spot market prices. These measures are in response to the scarcity of raw materials, rising equipment prices and global inflation.
