Akuo buys from First Solar

France's Akuo Solar has placed an order with First Solar for 500 MW of solar panels. They will be delivered

in 2024, then in 2025 and 2026. Akuo's aim is to reduce "long-term supply risks".

First Solar plans to ship 9.4 GW of solar panels in 2022. Production capacity is currently being expanded.
