The PV industry in China at the end of February
China says that the 110,000 tonnes of silicon manufactured in China in the first two months of 2022 were still not enough to meet demand. Over this period, production reached
40 GW of wafers (of which only 5.1 GW were exported), 39.5 GW of cells, 22 GW of solar panels and 27 GW of inverters
China's Energy Administration said that 10.9 GW of new solar generating capacity was added in January and February alone in China.
