Chinese battery manufacturer Gotion High-Tech announced on 29 December the start of construction of its new lithium production complex in Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province, China. The production facility is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022, and is expected to produce 50,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate and 7.5 million tonnes of lithium ores annually.
