In brief news: joint wind-solar production of Windbox, AES robot; split Terre et Ciel - Terre et Ciel Conseil which becomes Sépale

French start-up Wind my Roof has created a 1.8 kW wind generator

equipped with two 0.6 kW PV panels. The system maintains a good level of production throughout the year, while optimising the use of the roof space. It would produce 2.8 MWh per year. The system incorporates the same inverter and battery, thus reducing costs. The system requires a roof area of 4 m². It weighs 300 kg

One example is being tested on a building in La Défense, Paris.

AES has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) robot to facilitate the construction of new solar projects. This first-of-its-kind machine will make the construction of new solar installations faster, more efficient and safer. It performs heavy lifting, placement and fixing of solar panels. It creates a safer working environment, shortens project times and reduces overall energy costs.
