INES.2S tries to identify tandem cell experiments
The INES.2S institute is investigating the environmental impact of tandem cells. They consist of a perovskite material on top and a silicon base on the bottom.
The institute is faced with a lack of data
on the life cycle of the materials constituting the layer above. This is because there were a large number of materials used, without any recorded experimental protocol after the experiments.
INES.2S believes that the PK/Si-HJT tandem technology has a high efficiency and a large potential to reduce environmental impacts compared to a standard panel.
