EDPR wants to invest more in hydrogen
On the occasion of COP26, the Portuguese company EDP Renewables, the world's 4th largest wind and solar power producer, announced that it intends to increase its production of 1.5 GW of additional hydrogen by 2030. It is thus one of the 28
companies that are committed to low-carbon hydrogen. This is because EDPR is present in locations with good solar and wind resources, supporting infrastructure, proximity to industrial customers, a favourable regulatory environment, among others.
EDPR maintains its goal of moving away from coal production by 2025 and being fully 'green' by 2030
