US Customs seize Chinese panels

US Customs and Border Protection has reportedly seized shipments of panels from numerous manufacturers using Xinjiang silicon. We are talking about

Canadian Solar and Trina Solar, and especially JinkoSolar (which reportedly suffered a holdback of over 100 MW of panels). Credit Suisse reports that JinkoSolar has been plagued by panel retentions.

When a shipment is seized, the importer has three months to submit documentation proving that the WRO does not apply to its products, or arrange for them to be re-exported.
