Solar professionals call for the restoration of the RE tax credit
One hundred organisations representing various green energy sectors have written to the Biden Administration
to ask it to adopt a ten-year extension of the investment tax credit, including a direct payment option.
They point out that this tax credit has made it possible to reduce carbon emissions by 40% since 2005 in the electricity sector. They argue that RE deployment will need to be 80% higher than the current forecast scenario to stay on track with the administration's targets.
