In brief batteries: new Leclanché battery, Forsee in India, more powerful Nanograf battery

Swiss company Leclanché has developed a new generation of battery components

lithium ion batteries (called M3) for high power consumption applications. They feature a very high cycle life of up to 20,000 cycles (LTO) or up to 8,000 cycles (G/NMC).

The highly automated plant will produce six times its current capacity, reaching 60,000 components per year when fully operational. This places Leclanché among the first manufacturers to produce cells and modules on a large scale in Europe.
