The first part of the GCL complex in Hefei is almost completed

In Hefei (Anhui province, east of and close to Shanghai), GCL is building the first part of the complex that will produce wafers, cells, panels and all the components

such as junction boxes, back plates, glass, EVA and aluminium frames. The first phase of the plant will start production in September this year. The 4th phase will be completed in 2023.

The company is also building a 10 GW solar cell factory in Leshan, Sichuan province, with the first 5 GW unit scheduled for completion by the end of 2021. It will mainly manufacture PERC, TOPCon and heterojunction cells.
