Installation targets for 2025, 2027 and 2030

The Norwegian Scatec starts working in India by joining forces with

with India's ACME (50/50) to build a 900 MW solar power plant in the state of Rajasthan. This is its first contract in India. The plant should be completed in 2022. A few days ago, Scatec was awarded the construction of 540 MW solar with 225 MW/1,140 MWh storage in South Africa.

The company, which had 1.6 GW at the end of 2020, wants to reach 15 GW by 2025, and is ready to invest $11.7 billion to achieve this.

The Danish Ørsted plans to invest DKK 350 billion ($57 billion) by 2027 to reach 50 GW of installed RE capacity by the end of 2030. This would quadruple its current portfolio (of 12 GW, mainly offshore wind). This 50 GW would be divided into 30 GW of offshore wind, 17.5 GW of onshore wind and solar PV, 2.5 GW of biomass and green hydrogen
