The Biden administration's focus on climate change and the expectation of new incentives for renewable energy boosted solar stock prices on the stock market in January.
Global installation forecasts are contributing to this: the photovoltaic stock index is up 5.8% in January 2021, while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones fell by 1.1% and 2.0% respectively. SunPower recorded the second highest increase in the panel with + 111% in January alone.

President Joe Biden's administration has created significant demand for batteries and electric vehicles (EVs) through the "Made in America" executive order, signed in January.
