A 25% heterojunction solar cell obtained by INES and ENEL

(Editor's note: A big mistake made us attribute this performance to the IPVF and not to the INES. With our apologies)

Enel and the Institut National de l'Energie Solaire achieved an efficiency of 25.0% with a heterojunction solar cell, having

an active area of 213 cm², based on the M2 wafer format. More information will be communicated to PVSEC in September.

NDLR This result is obtained by laboratories. It would be necessary to know the extra cost of industrial production to achieve such a result compared to a PERC cell production, and this is calculated over a period of 25 or 30 years.
