Orange concludes its first PPA with Boralex
Orange has entered into its first power purchase agreement in France with Boralex. The contract covers 67 GWh
of wind energy spread out over a period of 5 years. The contract begins on 1 January 2021. The energy is supplied by a 39 MW wind farm located in the Haute-Loire department with a very large number of delivery points.
Through this contract, Orange will increase the share of renewable energy it consumes. Its objective is to reach more than 50% of the energy consumed in the group by 2025. Orange also wants to improve its energy efficiency.
