A panel coating to minimise dust deposits

Scientists from the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology have developed a nanoparticle-based solar panel coating that minimises dust deposits and allows easy cleaning with water.

This coating

Inexpensive and highly transparent ensures no transmission loss or power conversion efficiency; it is super-hydrophobic, with a contact angle with water of more than 110 degrees. It has great climatic and mechanical stability.

Editor's note We are still receiving improvements from India, some anecdotal, others particularly relevant. Of course, it is difficult to perceive the interest of this announcement.
