Voltalia in the first quarter: strong increases in energy sales
Consolidated revenues for the group's first quarter amounted to €37m, up 38% at actual exchange rates and 47% at constant exchange rates compared with the first quarter of 2019. Energy sales increased by
41% at actual rates and 52% at constant exchange rates. The strong increases in energy sales were driven by the new power plants and the integration of Helexia and Greensolver.
Production increased by 14%. The installed capacity reached 722 MW at the end of March 2020 (+ 35%) (Editor's note: this is partly due to the two acquisitions.)
Since1 January, Voltalia has won 394 MW of projects, including 388 MW in Brazil.
The objectives for the end of 2020 are confirmed: there will be 1 GW in operation and a gross operating surplus of €160 to 180 million. The 2023 targets (2.6 GW under construction or in operation and EBITDA of €275 to 300 million) are on track. Already, 74% of the 2.6 GW is secured by long-term contracts already signed.
