Renting roofs to install panels

The Dutch solar distributor Enie offers to buy photovoltaic systems on the roof from cash-strapped homeowners. They will then receive monthly rents

before regaining ownership of the equipment a decade later. The company will pay about 85% of the initial cost of the panels but said it would not consider "poor" design or component systems.
