Chinese inverter manufacturers dominate Indian roofing market

On a market of 2.3 GW in 2019 according to JMK Research & Analytics, Growatt

holds 18% of the market, Ginlong (Solis) accounted for 13.2% and Sungrow 15%. The world's leading manufacturers Huawei, SMA Solar and SolarEdge, would hold only 4.4%, 3.1% and 2.6% market share respectively.

The closure of imports into India means that the market is estimated to return to 2 GW in 2020.
