Ranking of the main players in the developer-builder (EPC) sector
The global solar EPC market is dominated by two American, three German and four Indian entrepreneurs.
The largest operator 2019,
First Solar, is expected to leave its number one position as the company wants to withdraw from this activity. The German companies have been expanding abroad while their domestic market has stagnated. Spanish companies could gain positions in 2020 as their domestic market becomes more dynamic.
