A global index of power plants to determine their value
The American Eagle Global Advisors launches an index of wind, solar, hydroelectric and global transmission line power plants. This index named Renew
is the first of an emerging asset class that investors are increasingly interested in investing in. The index offers a price return basis (Renew) and a total return basis (Renewtr). A similar index is established for North America under the names RenewNA and RenewNAT.
The objective of this index is to offer a comparison with other assets in order to stimulate the expansion of renewable energies.
