Aiko Solar presents ambitious plan to increase capacity
The Chinese cell manufacturer, Aiko Solar, is presenting an ambitious plan to increase capacity.
While it has 9.2 GW in production by the end of 2019, it plans to reach a capacity of 22 GW
at the end of 2020, then 32 GW at the end of 2021, and reach 45 GW at the end of 2022.
Aiko has started the production of p-type monocrystalline cells in 166 mm (M6) and 210 mm (M12) format for high efficiency panels. The company will increase its research and development efforts and strengthen the quality of its management.
