Marketing of dye-sensitised solar cells
After ten years of research into dye-sensitised solar cells, the Taiwanese Institute of Industrial Technology (ITRI) and Formosa Plastics are setting up an annual production line of 120,000 cells in southern Taiwan.
These cells have an energy conversion rate of up to 16% and are capable of providing low-volume energy for IoT sensors, surveillance sensors and smart home appliances.
