Closure of coal-fired power plants in South America
Engie announces the closure of three coal-fired power plants located in Chile and Peru with a total capacity of 1 GW. It will replace them with various solar and wind power plants with a capacity of 1 GW.

Engie will build an 18 MW solar power plant in the Aude (at Fanjeaux) which will be operational in June 2021.
