Call for tenders for a 2 GW power plant in Dubai

The Emirates Water & Electricity (Ewec) company in Dubai is launching a call for tenders to build 2 gigawatts of solar power. The project has attracted a

significant interest from around 50 companies in the global renewable energy market.

Dubai has already launched the construction of the Mohammed bin Rashid (MBR) solar park which should reach 5 GW in 2030.
