Another wind turbine system: at altitude
The Swiss company TwingTec has developed a high-altitude wind turbine that operates with the aid of a drone. As the winds are eight times stronger at 500 metres above the earth than at 120 metres, the wind turbine produces electricity.
The principle :
The company's TT100 model is a drone with a wingspan of 15 metres.
