Switzerland plans large-scale solar auctions

The Swiss Federal Council intends to strengthen competition in the solar energy sector and to set fixed tariffs for large photovoltaic projects with competitive tenders. The electricity market

will be fully opened up in the context of liberalisation.

A bill will be submitted to the Federal Council before April 2020.
