Prices during this week

The price of silicon continues to decline. On the Taiwanese market, the kilo has even fallen to $13. Professionals estimate that this decline will continue.
The market for multicrystalline wafers continues to be insufficiently supplied in China and Taiwan. As a result, prices are tending to rise, in line with what has happened in recent weeks. Contracts are being signed for December with a rising price. As before, single-crystalline wafers are still being neglected. Their price has fallen back below $0.90 each in Taiwan.
The panel cell sector is recording strong demand, hence the price increase. Some quotations for Taiwanese cells with a conversion rate of 17.8% go as high as $0.34/piece. This upward trend will persist until the end of January. Professionals are optimistic until the Chinese New Year. They are more cautious for the period afterwards.
The strong demand from the Chinese domestic market is having an effect on the price of panels: 260 watts have a spot price of $3.95 to $4.05/watt these days
