Bonus for installing floating power plants in Belgium
Flemish Energy Minister Lydia Peeters has announced that the Flemish government will grant a ten-year rebate premium of
0.078 € / kWh (with a provisional adjustment factor of 0.8) to a floating photovoltaic project of 1.2 MW. This amount will be added to the market price of the electricity.
Another 100 MW floating project by Engie in Kristalpark. The cost reduction achieved by Engie reduced the premium to €0.0479 on top of the market price.
