Renewables will provide 18% of US electricity in 2019

Renewable energies will provide 18% of the United States' electricity in 2019 and nearly 20% in 2020, according to the agency.

American Energy Information Agency (EIA). Wind generation will exceed hydroelectric generation for the first time in 2019. Wind, solar and other non-hydroelectric renewables provided about 10% of production.
