Photovoltaics could be Australia's only source of energy within 30 years

A new study for the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) confirms the future dominance of rooftop solar storage and battery storage in Australia. Total PV capacity potential

that will be installed reaches 66 GW to 98.5 GW by 2054. This compares with the current installed capacity of 41 GW, which includes coal, gas and hydroelectric installations.
