The official figure for installations in China

The Chinese authorities report that in 2017, 52.83 GW of solar installations were installed (compared with

34.5 GW in 2016, an increase of 53%). This represents approximately 50% of the world's installations. The 130 GW installed in China provided 7.3% of China's power generation last year.
