Ten years after the opening to competition, the proportion of French people who have subscribed to a market offer for the supply of electricity is still low: only 50% of consumers are aware that they can change supplier, and only 16% had subscribed to a market offer. Nevertheless, the rate of switching suppliers is constantly increasing.
