Orange and Engie to distribute 1,000 solar kits in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon
Telephone operator Orange and Engie have launched a plan to develop 1,000 solar kits in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon.
These kits include a solar panel and a battery to supply electricity to domestic appliances in off-grid areas

Editor's note What is the size of these kits? If there is only one panel intended for one family, the 1,000 kits are a drop in the continent's electricity installation and can only supply a few villages at most.
