The sixth French call for tenders in non-interconnected areas

The French Ministry of Ecological Transition has announced the results of the sixth round of the 282 MW solar tender for non-interconnected zones (ZNI). This concerns PV projects including those with storage, ranging in size from 100 kW to 5 MW.

Three families of projects were concerned: power plants on buildings or shaded areas with a capacity of between 100 and 500 kWp (sub-family 2a), those with a capacity of between 500 kWp and 1.5 MWp (sub-family 2b), and ground-based power plants of less than 5 MWp (sub-family 2c).

There were 89 winning projects totalling 49.8 MW in Corsica and the French overseas departments and territories.

Approximately 20.4 MW were designated for installations ranging from 100 kW to 500 kW on buildings or car park shades. 12 MW were awarded to projects between 500 kW and 1.5 MW.

French developer Albioma received the largest share of the capacity awarded with 8.2 MW and 10 projects. GreenYellow followed with 4.2 MW, Corsica Energia with 4.0 MW and Corsica Sole with 3.1 MW, ranking second, third and fourth respectively.
