Slot matrix-coated perovskite PV cell with 22.5% efficiency

German researchers at the HZB have produced a perovskite PV cell coated with a slit matrix using precursor ink, achieving an efficiency of 22.5%.

The slit matrix is a coating process

used to deposit thin, uniform films with limited material waste and low running costs.
