France exceeded 15 GW of installed solar capacity at the end of June
1.1 MW of solar power was installed in thefirst half of the year (compared with 1.5 GW last year). France had 15.1 gigawatts at the end of June (including 14.5 GW
in mainland France). Installations of over 250 kW accounted for 51% of newly installed capacity. Installations with a capacity of less than 9 kW account for 13% of newly installed capacity. In the first half of the year, solar production reached 9.6 TWh. This represents an increase of 32% compared with the same period in 2021.
