Two new agrivoltaic systems
The German Sunfarming Group has developed two new agrivoltaic systems in conjunction with the Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany) and the Fraunhofer ISE Institute.
The first places the panels 2.5 metres above the ground.
with wide spacing between the posts to allow machines to travel underneath. The second raises them to 6 metres from the ground with 4 metres of free passage underneath. It is equipped with PV trackers. This system is being used to study different shading scenarios for plants, as well as more efficient rainwater management to make plant cultivation more resistant to the climate.

Editor's note From the outside, we wonder how these two new systems improve or innovate compared with other products already on the market.
