ASCAArmor 's subsidiary has acquired the production and technology patents for printed organic photovoltaics (OPV) from the chemical group Merck KGaA at the end of 2021.

ASCA manufactures customised OPV products, including solar films available in a wide range of colours.

Canada's largest vanadium flow battery to be built

Canadian redox flow battery manufacturer Invinity Energy Systems and Canadian renewable energy developer Elemental Energy have announced the construction of a 21 MW solar power plant coupled with 8.4 MWh of vanadium redox flow battery capacity in the Canadian province of Alberta.

NEXTracker is to be spun off from its parent company Flex. The latter has sold for USD 500 million to the climate investment arm of investor TPG Rise. This values the company at around 3 billion dollars. An IPO is still possible.
