Stellantis and Samsung SDI create a joint venture to produce lithium ion batteries in the US.

The plant aims to have a capacity of 23 GWh when it is launched in 2025, which can be increased to 40 GWh later. It will supply batteries for the group's vehicles. This plant will bring Stellantis' production capacity to 63 GWh
