Next participatory financing of communities in France

The French senators and deputies have agreed on the provisions that will be incorporated into our national law from that of the European Union. One point concerns photovoltaics:

local and regional authorities will be able to issue bonds for solar projects, i.e. using participatory financing. An experiment will be opened to test this mechanism. This law gives more means to make decentralisation effective. These new provisions will lead communities to prefer direct investment to the use of traditional developers. It will also give more weight to local authorities in the project companies because this bond financing will be added to their contribution in land.
