R&D Brief: Perovskite panel, perovskite cell defect
Chinese researchers have developed a perovskite solar panel with a
an active surface area of 20.77cm², using diphenyl sulphoxide (DPSO) as an electron acceptor. It has a conversion rate of 16.3%.

Chinese researchers have examined the defects that limit the performance of perovskite solar cells. They found a shielding effect that could be overcome to make the material defects invisible to charge carriers. As a result, they achieved an efficiency of 22%.
