New book dedicated to hydrogen in the Energy Code
After the presentation last September by the government of the National Strategy for the development of decarbonated hydrogen in France within the framework of the recovery plan, the Minister for Ecological Transition presented
at the Council of Ministers meeting on 17 February last, the draft order on hydrogen. The text, published in the Official Journal on 18 February 2021, creates a new book within the Energy Code dedicated to hydrogen. The objective is to reach 20 % to 40 % of the total consumption of hydrogen and industrial hydrogen by 2030" set by the legislator in 2019.
