In brief: Danone-Iberdrola power purchase agreements; Axpo and IWB-Denner
Danone Spain has signed two energy purchase contracts with Spain's Iberdrola for a volume of
73 GWh and another up to 104 GWh. For the French company, 100% of the renewable electricity used in its factories and sites in Spain will come from Europe's largest photovoltaic power plant of 590 MWp (called Francisco Pizarro), which is scheduled to come on stream in 2022.

A solar power plant is to be installed on the Muttsee dam (Switzerland). It will be built by the Swiss companies Axpo and IWB. The 2.2 MWp produced annually will be delivered to the distributor Denner for a period of 20 years.
